Product Introduction
Machine tool bodies are the load-bearing foundation of every machining centre. JHD produces them in grey cast iron (HT250 / HT300) and ductile iron (QT450-10) so the finished machine combines high static rigidity with the vibration damping that determines surface finish and tool life.
Every casting is moulded in resin sand, then aged and stress-relief annealed before machining. Releasing residual stress at this stage is what keeps guideways and spindle seats within tolerance after years of cutting duty — a step that low-cost suppliers frequently skip.
Typical parts in this family include beds, columns, cross beams, worktables and spindle housings. Wall thickness, rib layout and machining allowance are reviewed against your 2D/3D data before quotation, and we feed back concrete DFM suggestions where a small design change reduces cost or scrap risk.
