Product Introduction
Flanged covers are used throughout machinery and piping to close and seal a housing. Bolts pass through the holes on the flange to clamp the cover against the body, and the machined sealing face carries the gasket that keeps liquids or gases inside.
This cover is cast in ductile iron for a combination of strength and toughness, then machined on the sealing face and bolt circle. Flatness of the sealing face is the critical characteristic and is inspected before shipment.
Dimensions can follow your drawing or standard flange tables. Where the assembly is pressure rated, the casting can be supplied with a hydrostatic test certificate.
