Product Introduction
The shaft sleeve combines wear resistance, strength and rigidity, so it can carry load and friction in mechanical transmission assemblies. Its job is to support and locate the shaft while reducing direct friction against surrounding components.
The hollow design reduces weight and, just as usefully, helps distribute lubricant and other media across the bearing surface. Better lubrication means less wear and a longer service life for both sleeve and shaft.
Sleeves are supplied with the bore and outside diameter machined to your fit specification, and can be delivered in matched sets where several sizes are used on the same machine.
